Thank you for continuing to pray for the Heath church plant! Over the past few months of praying, talking, and wondering whether God might be leading TRCC to plant a church, the pastors and elders have been encouraged to see the Lord provide each step of the way and make this possible.

We held our first meeting in Heath, Texas on Sunday, September 10, 2017. Twenty adults and six kids enjoyed a time of worship, teaching, communion, and prayer. Each family echoed such thankfulness knowing their TRCC-Anaheim Hills church family was praying for them during this new adventure.

In October, the Heath Team will begin meeting weekly on Tuesday Nights to pray for one another, the community, and the next steps in the church plant process.

Please continue to join us in praying for God’s Work to be done through this church plant.

Heath Prayer Requests:

  • Families to continue to settle into their new homes, communities, and jobs
  • Opportunities to meet others in the community and begin building relationships
  • Continued relationships with other churches and pastors in the community

FAQs:

Where’s Heath, Texas?

Heath is located in Northeast Texas, 25 miles east of Dallas with a population of approximately 7,000. The nearest “larger” city is Rockwall, just 10 miles north.

What will the church plant be called?

We plan to use “The Rock Community Church” and refer to our two campus locations: Anaheim Hills, CA and Heath, TX. We’re one church body ready to continue furthering the Gospel and sharing the love of Christ in both communities!

How can I be involved from Anaheim Hills?

It’s such an encouragement to hear our TRCC-Anaheim Hills family wants to partner with TRCC-Heath. Click here for ways you can partner.

Who will be the pastor in Heath?

We’re actively looking for a local pastor with a heart to preach the Word and minister in the Heath community. If you have any leads, you’re welcome to contact us at therock@trcclive.org.
